A rainforest can be described as a tall, big jungle located around the middle of the earth. They earth usually located near the equator. Rainforests are called Rainforests because of the high amount of water fall it gets per year. There are over 30 million plants (flora) and animals (fauna) in rainforests over the world. Rainforest provide nutritious food like fruit and vegetables for people all over South America. Rainforests are very important to us because it provides us with alot of the earth's oxygen.
