Anaconda
The anaconda is a type of snake that lives in the Amazon. It grows up to 20 feet long although it has been recorded to grow up to 33 feet. It is one of the largest snakes in the world. The ananconda likes rivers, lakes and swamps. The anaconda usually hunts at night. It eats deers, wild pigs and large rodents.
Kapok Tree
The Kapok Tree is the biggest tree in the Amazon. It can grow up to 200 feet tall. This tree provides food and habitats for many animals. The Kapok trees seeds, leaves, bark and resin is used to treat, fevers, asthma and kidney diseases. This tree can provide between 500 and 4000 fruits at once. Each fruit can contain over 200 seeds.
